Fancy Gadam biography

Mujahid Ahmed Bello (born August 16, 1988), better known as Fancy Gadam, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall, and reggae musician. In 2017, he was awarded Best New Artist at the Ghana Music Awards, and in 2020, he was named Best Afrobeat Entertainer at the International Reggae and World Music Awards.

Early life and Education

Fancy Gadam was born in Hausa Zongo, a suburb of Tamale, the Northern Region’s capital city (Ghana). He finished his primary schooling at Tamale’s police barracks school. Fancy Gadam began his musical career as a school and public event performer when he was 12 years old.
